Epistaxis also known as bleeding from nose can be present in any age group.

Causes in children:
  •  Severe Rhino sinusitis, Benign Nasal mass, trauma.
Causes in adults:
  •  Hypertension, Rhino sinusitis,Nasal polyps, Benign nasal mass,maligancy,bleeding disorders,certain drugs,trauma
Treatment:
  •  Depends upon the cuase and control of the causative factor.
  •  In emergency patient needs to undergo nasal packing.
  •  Nasal endoscopy with cauterization of bleeding vessels.
