BELL'S PALSY
It is idiopathic, Sudden on set, facial paralysis or paresis.It can occur in any age group, equally common in males and females. It never spreads beyond face.
Treatment:
- Steroids are main part of treatment. Earlier the treatment , better chances of recovery.
- Antiviral Drugs.
- Vitamin B12 Supplements.
- Eye Care to prevent corneal ulcers and Exposure Keratitis
Causes:
- Idiopathic.
- Viral Infection.
Investigation:
- Audiogram.
- MRL Brain to rule out only intracranial pathology.
