Dr Brahmi Pandey is the director of ‘Shruti project’ which is an outreach community program. It is one of
its kind community program where we reach the most needy strata of society and offer them free health
screening and awareness and treatment at concessional rates. Over the years thousands of deserving
people have benefited from our initiative.
Dr. Brahmi Pandey a young and dynamic Ophthalmologist was a merit ranker in 12th board exam. She has
done numerous Cataract Surgeries at Baba Amte’s ashram at Wardha as a part of J.J Hospital’s team from
2005-2008. She specializes in Topical Anesthesia (No Injection, No Pad), Proficient in Micro
phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery (No Cut, No Sutures) with Premium Intra-Ocular Lenses. She is a
comprehensive Ophthalmologist looking after Cataract, Glaucoma and Ocular Trauma services. Together
with our team of Cornea and Refractive, Oculoplasty and Vitreo Retina, we are continuously striving to
provide excellent outcomes for our patients.
Qualification and Achievements
M.B.B.S. (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from Mumbai University. Completed M.S (Master of Ophthalmic Surgery) from Grant Medical College and J.J. Hospital, Mumbai with Gold Medal. Holds D.N.B. degree from ‘The National Diplomat Board of India. Holds D.O.M.S (Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine and
Surgery). Won Gold Medal in F.C.P.S (Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons of India).Received the prestigious Hiranandani Scholarship for topping in the University in ENT and Eye. Dr. Brahmi received National Human Rights Awards in Dec2014.
Other Activities
Dr. Brahmi has conducted Rural Camps practically in all districts of Maharashtra as a part of J.J hospital team under the illustrious leadership of Padmashri Dr. Prof. T. P Lahane. She has been serving the citizens of Kalyan since 2009 at Balaji ENT and Eye Hospital, Kalyan (w).
